Willa Blank - After graduating from RISD with a BFA focusing on apparel design, Willa went on to accrue 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. Her roster includes product development, design and concept design for brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Trademark, J.Crew, and more. As co-founder, owner, and leader of creative operations, Blank Studio NYC is the culmination of Willa’s interdisciplinary experiences on-set and her passion to create a more hospitable experience for fellow creatives. She keeps alive her love for interior design, sourcing and styling home goods and making as the mood strikes through @shopblanksupply.
Marni Blank - Marni began her career as a lawyer, working both for the Federal and NYC government. Ultimately realizing law was not her passion, she decided to switch paths to real estate while co-founding Blank Studio NYC with her sister in 2016. Marni's background allows her to wear many hats at the studio as Director of Operations, focusing on problem solving, providing an approachable customer experience, and most importantly, helping clients execute on their visions. As a lifelong learner and explorer, she believes that one does not need to be boxed into a single career or path, but that there is room to create a life that encompasses whatever brings you joy. She is an occasional food styling assistant, maintains her real estate license at Tungsten Property and enjoys continuing her education on emotional intelligence and counseling.

are the sisters and collaborators behind Blank Studio NYC. In 2016, Willa convinced her sister, Marni, to join forces and create a new kind of creative studio. The two searched for the perfect space and landed on an unassuming, former industrial loft that (with a little elbow grease) they transformed into the beautiful studio it is today. They envision Blank Studio NYC to be a creative space that offers warmth and freedom for their clients to create and connect.
